About the Market

Located directly across from the beautiful Art Deco Town of Lake Water Tower at 6th and Howard, the Garden District Farmers’ Market is a jewel along Milwaukee’s Green Corridor running along 6th Street from Howard to College Avenues on Milwaukee’s south side.

The Garden District Farmers’ Market will run Saturday afternoons from June 14th through October 11, 2014 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. A special kick-off celebration will be held at the market on July 12th.

Location

The Garden District Farmers Market is located just south of the intersection of 6th Street and Howard Avenue on Milwaukee’s south side, just a few blocks off of Interstate 43/94.

Become a Vendor

Are you a new or long-term Wisconsin-based farmer? You are welcome to be a vendor at the Garden District Farmers’ Market. We rent the GDFM spaces only to bona fide growers or producers of the products that are sold.

Garden District personnel will be on hand to assist with set up, and enforce rules and regulations and to manage the daily activities at the Market

Education Wanted

The Garden District Farmers’ Market is planning to host educational offerings and presentations this summer. Between 1:30 and 3pm we invite demonstrations and programs on health, better eating, conservation art and gardening.

Are you a seasoned entertainer or just getting started? Solo talent, duo or, trio - this summer you have the opportunity to showcase your talent and reach a new audience and the surrounding neighborhoods.

We offer the location and the opportunity for exposure and building your audience appreciation. Are you available to perform or can help us get the word out to performers?
